Test Devices by Schenck has an exciting opportunity for a 3rd year engineering student working toward their Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering! We are offering a paid Engineering internship during the summer of 2024The Engineering Intern will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO)Primary duties include:
Basic engineering tasks such as performing engineering change requestsCreating CAD models and drawingsConduct technical researchPerform other duties as assignedDuration/details:
The internship will span 10-12 weeks during summer months, depending on the student's school and vacation scheduleYou will work full-time 40 hours per week, over a 3-month periodBusiness hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pmYou will be given a one-hour lunch breakYou will be entitled to 2 paid sick daysThe successful Engineering Intern will:
Be a current student at an accredited college or universityBe working toward a Bachelor degree in engineering (Mechanical or Aerospace preferred)Have GPA of at least 3.
0 and be in good standing (letter of recommendation from professor or dean requested)Have strong PC skills, including MS officeHave familiarity with CAD, Solidworks preferredBe a US Person (citizen or permanent resident)Live local to the Hudson, MA area.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
